I don’t recall exactly when I was bitten by the UCD bug; it must have been a couple of years ago when I came across a few blogs talking about it. Ever since, I had been trying to implement some of the concepts in my work – sometimes successful, most often unsuccessful.
And after spending five years being at the rear-end of the product lifecycle, I decided to move to the front of the pipeline. This is my journey of moving from a role of technical writer to a user experience role.
